He served for 15 years in U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey; 3 years on the Superior Court of the State of New Jersey; and 23 years in private practice. Conducted Reich v. Hercules, Inc. hearing, interpreting the administrative subpoena duces tecum served on defendant by the Secretary of Labor.


Heard Novartis Consumer Health, Inc. v. Johnson & Johnson-Merck Consumer Pharmaceuticals Co. involving claim of false advertising in violation of the Lanham Trade-Mark Act and New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act.

Civil Rights

Decided a multitude of cases involving alleged Eighth Amendment violations, due process, and equal protection rights transgressions, hostile work environment, sexual harassment under Title VII, Fair Housing Amendment Act negligence, and challenges to New Jersey’s Law Against Discrimination.


$2.5 million claim against architect alleging defective plans resulting from inadequate load bearing capabilities of the structure. 

Consumer Class Action

Appointed Special Master by New Jersey Superior Court in a putative class action against 50 pharmaceutical companies by plaintiff alleging violations in pricing, sale, distribution, and marketing of prescription drugs. 


Heard Stoeco Development, Ltd. v. Department of Army Corps of Engineers of U.S. involving a development dispute wherein the meaning of the Clean Water Act was the point of contention.

Intellectual Property

Decided numerous copyright, patent, and trademark infringement cases in areas ranging from architectural plans to pharmaceuticals to tamper-evident envelopes and hand stamps. (See Intellectual Property Representative Matters for details.)


Specialized in Nazi Era cases against German Defendants and heard In re Application of Sasson v. Sasson concerning the Hague Convention On the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. (See International Representative Matters for details.)

Personal  Injury and Torts

Dealt extensively with product liability limitations, claims, and actions; presided over Nunez v. Schneider National Carriers in a wrongful death action.

Real Property

Conducted Cellular Telephone Co. v. Zoning Bd. of Adjustment of Borough of Harrington Park involving a zoning dispute and the subsequent protest of the construction of a cellular telephone monopole and ancillary telecommunications equipment.


Handed down decisions in S.E.C. v. Hughes Capital Corp. regarding alleged unjust enrichment and in Zucker v. Quasha involving purportedly misleading public offerings of stock.
